I graduated from high school that year and my friend and I drove over to the fair. Actually, I did the driving and I'm surprised we're still not driving around in circles lost. Your post brought back so many memories. I remember the GE exhibit and I saw a couple of seconds of it on that one You Tube video. For some reason that one stuck out in my mind. I remember the seeing the Pieta statue at the fair and then seeing it again in 1970 at St. Peters. I thought that was kind of neat. Thanks for the memories.<br /><br />What ever happened to the World's Fair? They seem to be a thing of the past now.
