Memes and an Award

Before I post later in the day about some other points of interest in lower Manhattan, I am happy to participate in a 6 word meme…"six words that represent your life’s motto".... challenge, that Tara, of the delightful blog called "Days Missed On A Hammock" passed on to me. Thanks, Tara!
I am supposed to pass this one to six other bloggers, and I choose the following ladies whose life philosophy I'd love to learn about.
Mrs. B, DayLilyLane, Rosie'sWhimsey, MJ Ornaments, Edie Marie's Attic. and Rue's peanut butter and jelly life All of you lovely bloggers must now pass this on to six other bloggers of your choice. Thank you!

I've posted about my life philosophy once before, but not as a meme.
My six-word life motto is "Live well, laugh often, love much", which I believe sums up a lot about the life I wish to live.
"Live well," by following a code of ethics and the Golden Rule.
"Laugh Often," because often laughter will help get me through the worse times, and to enjoy the best times even more.
"Love much," because life is short and precious, and those we love and who love us are the most important parts of life.

Next, Donna at the very pretty "An Enchanted Cottage" blog awarded me with a "You Make My Day Award" Thank you kindly, Donna!

All the blogs I read "make my day" and each one is special, as I learn so much from each and every one. I'd love to pass this on to the following lovely blogs, and I hope they too can pass it on. It's a nice way to discover new blogs and introduce us to each other.
Louise at Home is Where The Heart Is

JanMary at welcome to my world
Cori at Gingerbread Crumbs and Company
Vee at A Haven for Vee
Lenka at Ice Covered

Blogs have added a lot of enjoyment to my life, and I look forward each day to keeping in touch with all of the wonderful people I've met in the short time I've participated in blogging.
You ALL make my day!

  7. Hi Pat!
I'm honored that you tagged me for the "6 word meme"! I'll try my best, but I'm with Rosie's Whimsy, my head may explode! That's some real serious brain arobics. I'm glad you like my blog banner, I wasn't sure if it was too much.
    Hugs, Sherry
