Just in case this political year in the United States hasn't generated enough excitement, Dover Publications has come out with a paper doll collection of the two candidates and "their wives, plus casual and formal outfits they wore during the campaign. Each paper doll set includes a brief biography, descriptive notes, and a bonus 'Election Night Scorecard.' "

You can even sign up to get free paper doll samples mailed to your e-mail inbox! They also will send an e-card of your choice of candidate, among other designs that you can choose from their website.

  2. Hi Pat :)

    That quiz was cute!

    I belong in Rome:

You're a big city soul with a small town heart
Which is why you're attracted to the romance of Rome
Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand
And gorgeous Italian people - could life get any better?

    Pretty darn close LOL

  8. Those paper dolls are too funny. They made McCain look...I don't know kind of monkey like...he has no neck and looks as tho he's hanging from a hanger...and I swear they used one of the women models from a 1950's Vogue pattern to put Obama's head and clothes on! whats up with that?
I think I'll go see what city I belong in and try to get that image out of my mind! lol.

  10. Hia Pat,
sorry it's been ages since I popped over. Apparently I belong in Paris. Hmmm LOL I thought I belonged in Flatbush preferably wearing that red dress of Scarlet O'Hara's. :-) Sigh... Lovely place.

Here in Southport the planning comittee are allowing Victorian buildings to be torn down and modern monstrocities to go up. Such backward thinking as if new will regenerate the area. Back in Oxfordshire, they've recognised the value of preserving the past and people flock to see it.

  20. Hahaha...I can just take your fortune cookie as-is. :-)

Apparently I belong in London (omg...they're going to take my NYC birth certificate away. ;-) I have to say - the description is pretty spot-on:

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.
A unique soul like you needs a city that offers everything.
No wonder you and London will get along so well.
