Our First Grandson

We are back from Colorado where we met our baby grandson for the first time. I think he is one of the most adorable babies I've ever seen!

It was such a thrill to hold him for the first time.................

.................and give him a million kisses.

Proud Grand Dad couldn't take his eyes off of his grandson either! What a thrill to hold the son of your son in your arms.

It was a wonderful first Christmas for Leo, spent together with his very happy parents, and his proud grandparents and aunt.

He's two and a half weeks old and growing fast! We already miss him so much, and I have a feeling we will be collecting lots of frequent flyer miles going back to Colorado for visits as often as we are able.

I hope everyone had a joyful Christmas and I hope 2009 will bring good health, good fortune and many wonderful blessings to all!

You've definitely been missed here in the blogosphere. Welcome back...though I know it must be bittersweet leaving the little guy back in Colorado. TGFFrequentFlyerMiles!

Much happiness, blessings, prosperity, peace and love in the new year. You've taught me a lot about the city I was born in this year and I thank you for that. :-)

  20. What a cutie pie that little Leo is!! The photos of grandma and grandpa with him are just so touching!!
I remember when I left my little gr. girl (I'd spent the first week with her, my son and my DIL)---I just bawled like a baby all the way home!! I couldn't stop it--and I couldn't believe I could have gotten so attached, but I sure did!! In fact, she just spent the night with us Sunday (she's 2 1/2 now) and I'm ever goofier over her now than I was when I drove away from their home when she was a newborn!
Thank you for sharing those wonderful pictures---so glad you had a safe and terrific trip!
Happy New Year to you!!! Dana

  44. Well I have to agree with you. Leo is one of the sweetest little babies I've ever seen.

Love his stocking. Looks like it's big enough to put him in it! So cute.

It has to be hard being so far away from him. They grow up so fast. You need to get a web cam so you can see him every day.

BTW We WILL be able to reach our goals this year.

I've started today and so far this year I've been good at keeping my goal. LOL

Well they say, do it one day at a time! LOL

    Hugs,
    Joanne
