I'd like to show more details about the wonderful culinary day experience in the heart of Los Angeles, California, that I recently won in a contest, so please visit my review page "Mille Fiori Favoriti - My Back Page" where this post has been moved. Click here to view.
Again, Pat, I'm so happy that you got to take this trip! Your excitement is contagious! Loved seeing these shots of LA, of your food selections at the restaurant, and of the Farmers Market. Oh, and all of you ladies having fun, of course!
ReplyDeleteXO,

What a great time you all are having! Of course you got the Manhattan Fritatta! No Brooklyn Fritatta? Looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing Part 2...
It sounds like you gals had an amazing trip to LA. What fun!! They certainly treated you gals like queens. Lots of good food!!! Can't wait to hear more about it. Thanks for sharing all your great pictures. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love the cities that have traveling food trucks...how fun is that! Looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteWow! wow and more wow! Lucky you Pat, but as you know, i am very interested in the food and that pink limo...argh..what can I say :) Happy week ahead. Hugs..M
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous trip! I would love to go to that market someday!

Wow! You were in LA and SO CLOSE to me! When we lived right in Los Angeles, we loved to go to the Farmers Market for the Singapore/Indonesian food! If you were facing the French shop and turned 180 degrees, walked toward the Starbuck's, you'd pass that little Asian food stall. We loved everything on the menu but especially the drink called es cendol!
ReplyDeleteBut was there a stop at "Pinks" for a hot dog...I would have made the limo pull over for one of their dogs!!...loved the pictures at the farmers market..can't wait to see the rest...
ReplyDeleteDid you get to Culver City??! Tender Greens Restaurant! And a truly yummy little French bakery and restaurant nearby!
ReplyDeleteI love to see when people post about their trips to CA. It makes me see my state through the eyes of a tourist and gets me excited.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to the Farmers Market this Tues before going to see a taping of American Idol. I'll be thinking of you while I'm there!
Glad you had a fun time. Wish you could have hung out longer though.
Hugs,
Joanne
Wow what a fun time you all had. Envy , envy. The photos of the food are delicious my mouth is watering.
ReplyDeleteIt seems the excitement has no end... Great!! However, these posts are driving me too hungry, which is a disaster for my diet... ;)) I'm going to grab some breakfast... ;))
ReplyDeletePS: Waiting for you at Blogtrotter Two...
Oh Pat!
ReplyDeleteLavender salt? Fennel Pollen salt? Preserved Lemon salt? And I don't even know what Genmaicha salt is but it sounds yummy! LOL!
Wow!!! What a day! I thought the stretch limo was fab but the breakfasts at that Griddle Cafe... I'm still reading their very extensive menu and salivatiing. I love the names they give their food "omelette my soul" "gone shrimping":-)
And I would never have guessed LA would have a Farmers Market - but there it is!! And what a great history - I mean it really was a farmers' market to begin with and now look at it!! You can buy lavender salt! How amazing.
I can't wait for part 2!
Take care
x

Hi Pat, I took my time looking through all of the mosaics, getting hungrier and hungrier. Your pictures are wonderful and so artfully arranged. That must have been one delicious trip! I will bet that it stirred up your creative juices (no pun intended).

What a wonderful prize to win - and it sounds like you appreciated every minute. I love the mosaic of fruit - fresh and candied - so colourful.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the second installment.
Oh my heavens! Each mosaic more and more glorious. I'm so glad that you decided to give mosaics a try...how else could you pack a post with so much information? I would love to have been adventurous and try the breakfast you enjoyed, but I would've stuck with tried and true, front and center. :D
ReplyDeleteI love when you take us on tours! You are the best tour guide...and I'm so glad you won that trip.
