Happy Independence Day!

America the Beautiful!

The American heartland

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,

For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

 Tappan Zee Bridge New York

America! America!

God shed his grace on thee

And crown thy good with brotherhood

The NYC borough of Brooklyn looking towards the borough of Manhattan

From sea to shining sea!

July 4th - Happy Independence Day!

"America the Beautiful"

  28. Hi Pat, what a beautiful tribute to our country. I get emotional about how thankful I am to be an American.

Thank you for your sweet comment about our granddaughter. I didn't mention that she is in the top 10 of her class of 400 students. This includes two college courses she has already completed. We are so proud of her.
