Welcome Spring!

Spring Fever has officially arrived in our part of Colorado!

The garden centers are brimming with beautiful flowers...

...and my grandsons are back to playing soccer and lacrosse on the weekends.

We even had some rain!  It is not a common event in our high desert arid climate.

The annual fun Easter Egg Hunt was held in my community, along with a visit by the Easter Bunny!

It was also time to dye our eggs for the holiday, with help from my oldest granddaughter.

Easter Sunday finally arrived!

Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!

Easter Joy!

I was busy all week preparing and cooking for our traditional family Easter feast...

 ...including desserts.

I even spied the Easter Bunny enjoying some of the newly growing grass in my backyard.

Welcome Spring!

  3. Pat - what a labor of love to prepare such a feast, desserts and all! A worthy conclusion to our sacrificial time during Lent. We finally emerged from a couple of weeks of gray skies and rain to a gloriously sunny, warm day, just in time for Easter! Thanks for linking your cheerful, bright, joyful collages to Mosaic Monday!

  7. A blessed Easter I see! Wonderful to have the season return to “normal” whatever that is. Looks like busy times with the grands playing soccer and lacrosse and all the doings of spring. The flower collage is a balm to me. No flowers blooming here yet... Inside, yes, outside...nope! Hope that you had lots of takers for the leftovers. You could feed a small army with all that yummy food!

  16. So happy your Easter was so much fun. I had to look twice to see where you were from and until I saw your mountains I thought you lived a few blocks away. Your park looked like ours. Now some really yummy looking food there. Do I detect an Italian in the midst because that almost looked like our table. hahaha Well, thanks for sharing and have a great day!
