I am beginning this blog as a way to savor the days, add to my knowledge, and to enjoy living life "out loud."
Here, in Mille Fiori Favoriti, I hope to add to my Favorite Thousand Flowers --the translation of the name of my blog from Italian to English -- with, perhaps, a thousand blog posts of interest? Who knows where the journey will lead?
Why did I give my blog an Italian name? I guess it's because everything in Italian sounds so romantic and beautiful, and I'd like to think of my life that way. Being married to an Italian husband helps!

Everyone's first post should have a comment. I came here to prove you wrong, that you had not begun blogging as late as you said. That's because I can not fathom a blog as smart and big and delightful as yours being such a baby...born on this day in 2007. Simply amazing!
