That poem is lovely! I am amazed at how well read my blogger friends are and always glad when they share something "new" and wonderful with me! I love reading, literature, & books!
Amazing accomplishment, Pat! This poem summarizes what I want to mean perfectly. All of US, the world sees how 'courageous' nation you are, and a miracle can be realized. I heartily welcome the global leader, Congrat's!
I wanted to stop by and visit and say thanks for stopping to say "hi". I love it when I find a new blog to read! I so enjoyed yours...your kitty is just precious! We got ours off Craigslist, too! And, I am still laughing about the group of Richard Simmons-es marching in the parade...lol!!! That was great! I have the whole collection of Shel Silverstein books....I am excited that my kids are enjoying them, too! What a whimsical author!
Hi Pat, I love your poem. I got you email today and started to respond, but was at work. I'll pick it up later and then send it tomorrow. I have to finish my brother's memorial. Have a wonderful evening. xo Cori
Hi Pat! I love that book! We have it and I read it to my boys when they were growing up when we would take car trips. And that is a great poem!! Hugs, Sherry
Hello and welcome!
I'm Pat, a lifelong New Yorker who has recently moved to a suburb of Denver in the beautiful state of Colorado, so that I can live close to my children and grandchildren. I look forward to learning many new things about my new "mile high" city and I will share them on my blog.
New York City will always be my second home, and I will also continue to share many posts about it.
My blog's name in Italian means a "Thousand Favorite Flowers." I chose this unusual blog name because researching and writing for my blog, and taking photogrpahs for it, is like another "memory flower" that I am collecting in my bouquet of life.
I hope you will enjoy your visit to my blog and that you will leave a comment so that I know you've been here.
Thanks!
