Since March is a busy month this year, full of events and holidays, I thought it would be fun to start listing all the St Patrick's Day celebratory links I've come across so I can get an early start on planning my celebration.
As I come across more links I'll edit this post to add them. If you have any to suggest please e-mail me or add them to you comments. Thanks!

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, his religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for thousands of years.
The History Channel has wonderful information about St. Patrick on their web site, plus many other resources to explore. Rootsweb also has a brief history of the holiday.

Thanks Sandi and Penny! I added a link to the Savannah St. Patrick's Day parade.
Thanks so much for the link to the Heraldry website, I hadn't yet discovered that. I am so excited to find our family name coat of arms on there, I shall post it on my home blog. My uncle has been learning Gaelic, he lives a distance away from me, so I don't know how he has progressed? x
