I belong to Betty Crocker's e-mail recipe newsletter and recently they sent a recipe for the beautiful pink almond party cake seen in the photo above.
It sounds delicious, and I htought that it would be perfect as a little (or big) girl's birthday cake, or made into petit fours or cupcakes for a tea party. I'm saving the recipe to make it for Mother's Day.
Here is the link at Betty Crocker for the recipe. Make sure you sign up to receive one, or all, of their newsletters, too!
Happy baking, and happy Pink Saturday!

hahaha, Pat. I'm laughing because I just came from another blog which posted mouth watering food which reminded me it was time to eat. So I ate. I come back and visit yours, and there's food again. I have to be careful of the pavolovian response. Need to keep my willpower in check with such a delicious cake. Nope, it's just gone out the window! Will be raiding the fridge. Buona giornata! p.s. Love Manhattan. Worked there for many years. Met my ex-husband in Greenwich Village. Can't imagine not being near enough to Manhattan.
What a lovely cake. Mine would never look so good. :)
Happy belated Pink saturday..have a lovely day.
Pat

Hi Pat! It’s always great when I have a chance to get here! But it will definitely ruin my always delayed diet... ;))

Yummy, Pat. I do think that is a cake to love. You need to find a recipe for blue cake for that sweet grandson that will be here very soon. ;-)

Are you counting the days until the wee one arrives? I certain you are.
