His daddy was born exactly on his due date, so I was spared the waiting game when he was expected, but I'm sure my grandson's special day will be finally be here very soon.
We can't wait to meet the little guy! I know a few of you already know his name, but I'm trying to keep it a secret until the day I announce his arrival. There are so few surprises in life any more.
Now I'm hoping that his birthday will be December 6 - St. Nicholas' feast day!I always loved St. Nicholas, who is really the true Santa Claus.

Oh...the waiting game! My granddaughter was born almost two weeks after she was expected to arrive. Your life is sort of on-hold, right? Dec. 6th sounds like a good date...we'll stay tuned for the grand announcement.

Pat, We are all waiting excitedly to hear! Yes, St. Nicholas Day would be a perfect day for your grandson to be born! I'm crossing my fingers! But the most important thing is that he is happy and healthy and loved.

December 6 sounds good, but then so do December 4, 5, and 7. Beyond that, we won't trouble.

Pat, I hope he comes soon! I know how excited you must be, and look at all the cute baby things! Loved the comparison of Santa and St. Nicholas. I'm kind of hoping since he's a December baby his name will be Nicholas. That's a great name!

My sons were both late, the first one was 18 days late and the second one was 8 days late. Of course they won't let you go that long now. But it was worth the wait for the little bundles of joy. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Hugs Pat you must be beside yourself with anticipation. The 6th would be a good day. There is a book somewhere around here showing which days belongs to which saints. I bet there are some saint's names you wouldn't want to revive in your grandson's name. LOL they did have some strange ones as I recall. Very interesting comparisson- I like it, thank you.

This is so much fun waiting...and now I'm waiting for my little man to fall asleep. He's already five.
My little man arrived on the anniversary of my mother's passing away. I love it because I have such wonderful memories.
