Last week's blog post showed some of the sights of Fort Collins, Colorado--click here to read that post. Fort Collins is actually the craft beer capital of Colorado with over 20 craft breweries in town. There are plenty of places to sample local beer and also take a brewery tour.
On a prior visit to Fort Collins ten years ago, we visited the New Belgium Brewery--click here-- to read that blog post. On this visit, we were excited to visit the Odell Brewery Company and take their tour.
Odell Brewing was founded by Doug Odell, his wife Wynne, and his sister Corkie. Over thirty years later, the culture of family and collaboration still thrives. Our very informative tour guide, Sam, showed us the process of Odell brewing from start to finish...
The brewery’s tap room is open seven days a week and offers limited release pilot brews, food trucks, special events, and live music on Wednesdays.
It is the best of both worlds!
In my next post, I'll take you along as we drive from Fort Collins to visit Rocky Mountain National Park along the Big Thompson River--a beautiful drive!

Great tour of the brewery, the seasonal Peach beer sounds interesting. Happy Monday, have a wonderful week!
...the number of small breweries around the country amazes me!
I don't drink at all but I have been on a few brewery tours and always find them so neat and informative.
Well if you are at the craft brew capital you HAVE to have a beer tasting! It looks like a very interesting tour and I'm pretty sure it was a tasty one!
Odell Brewing and the OBC Wine Project offer the perfect mix of beer, wine, and community.
Looks a good tour of the brewery.
All the best Jan
Very cool! #TalkaboutitTUesday
a different kind of post.....Michelle
Sounds like Fort Collins is the town to visit if you enjoy beer!
Looks like a good tour. We did one in Tasmania. It sounds like a great community business.
I've some O'Dells, its very tasty. I didn't realize that it was from Fort Collins.
Years ago before Oklahoma loosened up the beer laws I called the New Belgium Brewery and asked them what would have to happen for Oklahoma to get their beer. They said it was all up to Oklahoma.
I enjoy small breweries and the creative blends they come up with. Always better than major beers, I think! Thank you for linking up.
I've never heard of a peach beer or any other fruit beer. Maybe I'd like that - I'm not a fan of the taste of beer.
Interesting tour of the brewery.
Wonder how sour ale taste like.
Worth a Thousand Words
A brewery! I love the smell, remembering to our visit in one here in Bavaria. Wonderful Post again.
Thank you so much for sharing, dear blogfriend. Have fun and a nice weekend.
Greetings by Heidrun
